The adapter that has 2 ports coming out - i.e. with a 2.5mm output - this is a headset adapter - i.e. works with a headset that has audio and mic. The adapter with 3 ports was and is NOT designed as a headset adapter - only as an audio only (hence why 3.5mm output). I found this out when trying to hook my motorcycle helmet audio up and then experimented. Oh well.

I bought this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...0%3D%26fvi%3D1

It said it was HTC branded but I dont think it is but it works as advertised. I mostly use sony DR-BT30q's but got this for the gym and now that I can use my v-moda headphones on my mogul i have been rocking XM and internet radio non-stop.

What sites are you using to get internet radio/XM from?

I have a WM playlist i use for XM. The channels show up as a playlist. I have both SelectRadio (which does XM too as well as sirius, shoutcast etc..) and Resco Radio. There are a bunch of websites that have links to streaming radio too such as http://www.thestreamcenter.com/pda/ which is an awesome site that links to terrestial radio stations that stream.

It definitely plays in stereo. I have a nice set of v-moda ear buds and the sound of mp3s using pocket player is comparable to my ipod. The adapter was worth it to me because the ones that came with the mogul hurt my ears.

What it the reason for not including a 3.5mm input built in?

Seems like such a basic feature that so many people use.

+1 and the phones wouldn't have to ship with USB Splitters...would be so much easier 1 3.5mm 1 usb.

I would guess that by including both bluetooth (even if it doesnt always work) as well as the htc usb plug would be the main reason. Where would it stop? Should they include a 1.5mm too so you can use your standard headset? using the adapter doesnt bother me especially since it kind of just blends into the cord of the earphones. I would have been happier if instead of including their own crappy earphones if they would have made it an adapter for 3.5mm.
