stark difference between the mogul and my old moto q9c and samsung a900.

Both of the former had absolutely no issues with bluetooth sound quality or seeing my car's handsfree kit. Other than perhaps needing to increase the volume by a hair on my end, people on the other end could hardly tell that I was on a speakerphone.

The dozen or so times I've tried to use my mogul with the same setup have been very frustrating. Either the volume that I hear on my end is very low even with my car-kit and phone cranked all the way up, and/or whoever's on the other end says it sounds like I'm talking underwater or next to a rushing river! More often than not though I can't hear anything on my end.

Re: people say they have BT issues with the mogul

I am having problems sending files from my Mac to my Mogul. Everytime I try to send a PDF, Jpg, MP3, it says the phone won't accept that type of file or something. Then I click, send anyway and it doesn't send and has an error? Has anyone else experienced this and if so, how do you get it to accept files?

Re: people say they have BT issues with the mogul

My issue is that i can receive files, i.e. music or contacts, etc..., via BT from another BT enabled phone, but i cannot send same file back or any file even. I can pair up w/the device just fine, but when i try to send, all i get is "failed" instead of completing. I have even watched the screen of the receiving device after pairing up and double checking to see if set up correctly to receive, and nothing... just a flicker on their screen before i get the "failed" message. I don't have any other devices like a BT headset or any thing, just trying to share files w/a friend's BT enabled phone and it's driving me nuts. Any suggestions?

Re: people say they have BT issues with the mogul

On Telus with the WM6.0 ROM (1.32 radio) I had serious issues with my BT headset. It paired fine, and worked great BUT whenever the screen shut off the phone would almost always lock up requiring a reset.

Since I have upgraded to Telus' WM6.1 ROM, I have had absolutely _no_ problems with my headset. After about a year and a half I finally have a fully functional and useful phone.
