Minor annoyance - when coming back from locked, messaging is running

I close it via the HTC task manager or whatever the new x-button is called and lock the phone but when I come back there are no new messages but messaging is open. Anyone else ever have this happen?

I haven't had it happen on this phone yet but I had the same issue on my 6700. Sorry I can't give you any other help because I never looked into what was causing it. I was thinking it might be the call or sms blocker I was using but I'm running the same programs on the mogul so it was probably something else.

this only happens to me if i have palm threaded sms installed, but when i do, it happens ALL the time, even if i dont put the phone on standby. Ive posted in a few different forums, and nobody could give a solution.

I am currently looking for something to replace the slow and ugly built in sms, but havent found anything yet besides threadedsms and pocketcm, but i dont like how pocketcm doesnt fully replace the sms. if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Yeah I have threaded SMS too. I'll just chalk it up to bugs in that program then. It's worth it to have threaded SMS so I guess I will deal for now.

I have a similar issue but it is my dialer screen that comes up all the time. Not just from locked either, but almost anytime another program is closed the dialer screen comes up.

Same thing happens to me. There was some times where Messaging, Phone, Calendar and IE were all opening.

i am pretty sure it has to do with the threaded sms, mine does it everytime i slide the phone open after hitting reply to text....

its a pain, but ive developed an OCD habbit of pressing ok a million times so i can goto the texts after the message clears..

I have the same issue, the dialer screen constantly becomes open, rather annoying considering the moguls speed, even without using device lock or S2u2.

This never happened on my other 2 moguls, only this one, strange.

btw- I use the built in threaded sms app, not the palm one
