No sound on phone calls? - Page 2

Mine did it with No2Chem 5023. I don't know why. But every other rom I put on there it would work. But with 5023 it would not work at all! Soft reset nor hard reset worked. I just put dcd kitchen back on there with the 3.25 radio and it works fine now.

I had the same problem on my Touch, switched over to the Mogul and I have it from time-to-time. The wife has the Centro and it has happened to her so yeah I chackled it up as well as something with the Sprint Network

That's crazy...I've soft reset 4 times now and no sound. I haven't done any registry editing or even changed the ringer yet...I'm just not sure why it would be a network issue, I can see it being a hardware issue.

I don't think its a network issue. Bc on one rom I had the issue on everyother one it was fine. What rom are you running?

The latest release from HTC, whatever the new REV A is.

I just hard reset...let's see if it fixed the problem.

Damn that's weird...well, I'll start installing cabs and stuff...see where I lose sound and report back...but I'm with you now, it's gotta be a damn sprint issue.

I just figured it to be a Network issue if I had on both the Touch and Mogul. Since I have installed the latest ROM I have not had the issue come up yet and mine was always a random thing. All I would do is close out my phone application and then re-open it and it would work. Never had to soft reset or anything to clear the issue.

My issue is the same with not able to hear the caller or them hear me, but audio seems to work fine everywhere else (ringer, music, notifications). Soft reset fixes it for a little while. I even tried different roms like no2/dcd... even tried some based on no2's 5054, as well as his latest 5060.

The problem still occurs. Anyone think it is a hardware issue?

I am using W6.1 - radio 3.35

It looks like this is a wide spread issue among PPC users with Sprint. I have a Mogul and this also happens to me sometimes and I just soft reset my phone and its back to normal, but it really annoys me. I have had the past 2 roms before the new 3.35 and it happened with each rom. So I think it has to do with equipment and not software or firmware!
