Exclamation Can't send Email with Mogul

Sorry if this has been covered before but I can't seem to get my Mogul to send email from my regular email account. Like your-username@bellsouth.net. I now have mediacom which looks like this username@mchsi.com..I have put the exact mail server settings as described on mediacom's web site. It will receive but not send. I have also clicked on the use secure ssl on outgoing messages and it still does not work. Can anyone help?

You need to check to see what your SMTP mail server is. Sounds like you dont have it set up right.

Probably should be smtp.isp.com

I had this exact problem and this is how u solve it. In messanging, go to menu, tools, options. Select ur email account. Push next 4 times and check the box labeled outgoing server requires authentication and the one under it. That should solve ur problem.

You also have to realize that not all e-mail providers allow you to send e-mails through your e-mail account unless you are on their network.

For example, I have Time Warner Road Runner. I can recieve mails but I can't send them because I'm on Sprint's network, not on Road Runner... even though I have Road Runner at home.

It's annoying. Best thing to do is read the error e-mail that you get bounced back to you.

If you are unable to use your email providers smtp server, you will need to use Sprint's smtp server. You will also need to use the seperate outgoing user information.
