Remove Office Mobile from the Start Menu (Sprint Mogul)

Is there any way I can remove the Office Mobile entry from the Start Menu on a stock 2.09 Sprint ROM without hard-resetting and stopping carrier customization. I cant' remove it using the Menu item in Settings; I can't delete the directory using Total Commander.

The VZW version doesn't have this issue, so it's fairly evident that it's a carrier customization.

Any ideas?

You should just be able to delete it from the /windows/start menu. Just remember that it is a hidden file(may also be hidden/read only check properties), so you have to click on "show all files". What I always do is move it into the programs

Next suggestion, please? I've already tried a couple of methds of jsut deleting the folder. I can delete the contents, and doing so seems to get rid of the fancy icon; but the folder still remains.

Why will it not let you delete it. I think it may be a read only file, check the properties and if so change it. I never had this issue, but I use Resco Files Explorer

No attributes in particular.

And now I can delete the damn thing with Total Commander. How frigging bizarre.

Apologies for the snark - I swear I tried deleting it before

The only thing I can think of is that I couldn't delete it because it was open?

Anyway - it's gone now...
