i just ordered a proclip with the swivel base and a vehicle mount. $70 with a 10% off code
271191 i'll post my feedback when i get it set up. more than i wanted to spend, but i strongly feel that this will be the best setup i can get, rather than spending, say, $40 for something that just won't do. UPDATE i got the mount in hand, haven't installed it yet. the device fits real nice in the holder. still wish it was cheaper, but it's cut to fit the device exactly, so you get what you pay for. On a side note, i ordered a second mount for my 94 Prizm, and the mount when installed caused my center dash panel to pop out, and i wound up returning it. Ok guys I really need some help with this one. I have a dvd player in the dash of my car with 2 extra RCA inputs. I have seen several car mounts for the Mogul that will connect to the stereo system, but none with video capability. I’m already using MobiTV and it works great. The question is, how can I get a mini USB from the Mogul to a RCA of my dvd player so I can have live TV in the car? Is there a cable that I haven’t seen yet? The closest thing I have seen is a USB to RCA video grabber type device. I’m not sure if this type of device will work backwards yet and at about $75 a piece I thought I would ask around for ideas first.
Thanx |

I have a mount, cable with cassette adapter, slingplayer, and GSPlayer.
http://www.thepocketsolution.com/PSI-42048.html $34.95 great thing is you can mount on the dash or window http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProdu...duct_Id=153161 $19.99 http://www.slingmedia.com/go/spm http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA032810/ Now, if I wanted to spend anymore money I would wish for a double din bluetooth radio but for now the cassette adapte works great. |

The one on seidio's website is by far the best one but its also $120 and I just cant see myself spending that kind of money on a device specifically designed for just one particular phone.

I gotta give a +1 to the proclip mount. it's cheaper than the seidio one, and integrates better, no suction cups to fall off.
you can also use all the cables, chargers and stuff with your phone with the mount. i prefer this since i liek to use my mogul as an mp3 player thru my stereo. with the seidio mount, afaik, they don't have a stereo output on any but the most expensive model. but it's $70 to get you started, fyi. |

Well you have to have a slingbox on a network somewhere. Slingmedia specializes in video compression so that the end result on a computer or phone is excellent.
I put my phone in the mount where I can watch the sling in landscape mode (widescreen). I assume this is highly illegal but I try not to stare at it when driving. Anyone know of a Bluetooth Car Stereo that does A2DP? I have a Passat with a double din stereo. I am having a hard time finding something. I guess that is the sad thing about being ahead of most while learning about new technologies. It is FRUSTRATING while you wait on something that you want...... LIKE THE NEW ROM WITH GPS AND revA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Is anyone using an extended (larger than OEM size) battery with any of these mounting solutions?
