Hey Kayin!
You need to flash Verizon's PRL back to the phone! Chances are the Sprint ROM had the PRL on it and the VZW ROM you tried doesn't. Maybe someone on the boards has a Verizon PRL? |

this site contains updated PRLs. With sprint I believe you have to call and have them update your PRL through the network. Not sure how it is with Verizon. |

Download a Verizon PRL file from the site above, and copy it to the phone.
Dial ##775# on the phone and click Edit. You'll need an unlock code... on Sprint it's your MSL code, but on Verizon it's different-- it used to be 000000 on the 6700's, so try that. Once you gain access to the menu, you should be able to Edit and Browse for your PRL file.

got a PRL that's supposed to be VZW - says "prefered system" but all that stuff inside the settings after you enter the service code, makes references to sprint, and my data connection doesn't work!

This maybe a silly question but after I press the green phone button to go the dialer, and enter in ##775#, where is the EDIT button/menu/link? On my phone it has the dialer and you can't click on the number to edit it, there are only Contacts and Menu softkeys and under the Menu softkey there is no edit. |

Call customer service they will have u fixed in 30 seconds just tell them u did a hard reset and now your phone will not authenticate with the network.

It is not the prl...Nexvision gave a decent suggestion. You need to re-do the OTA programming with *22899. If you can't do that now, try a call to data tech support with the excuse Nexvision listed. The data isn't working due to among other things, the akey.

I second NexVision and Verizonguy's suggestion. I did a hard reset of my XV6800 and the Authentication code was missing. I couldn't make a call. I called Verizon Wireless's technical support and they read me the code over the phone. I kept a copy of the code in case it happens again.
