Seperate Text Messages and E-Mail

Hey guys
Just got my mogul yesterday, and I've been nonstop messing with it since then . I installed the HTC plugin and customizer, and I'm trying to have two different buttons on the launcher for messages, one that goes to my text inbox and one that goes to my email inbox. Is this possible?
Also, this is probably a stupid question, but whats the fastest way to send a new text? Is there a shortcut? Or do you have to go to messages, new text, etc.

Fastest way to do anything new is to get the HTC Action Screen which can be found over at XDA. May have to be registered to download...

Hm, I'm having a problem installing that. Well it installs, but its not in programs or anything. I'll keep trying

what I did was install the sms threaded app with soft button integration posted by cody. I have my left soft button set for sms and the "envelope" button set for email. wrks pretty well!

Still can't figure out whats going wrong . Installed Action center 2x, different downloads each time. Installed it to Device. Says its installed, but its not in the programs list, nor is it on the home screen.
What could I be doing wrong?
This does sound like an awesome program though.
