im pretty happy with the new Random Access add-on to the standard contacts. works awesome. I believe you can find just random access add on over at XDA extracted right from the touch.

I loved PocketCM 0.15 when I first used it. But despite this I regretfully had to uninstall it as I could no longer stand how long it took to open. However, 0.16 has solved this problem. The "development version" has been working great for me, though I can't wait for the final release. I've tried all the others... iContact, FFF, etc. and I personally don't think they come close to PocketCM 0.16 (0.15 is awesome but too slow opening).

Can I ask a dumb question, is there a way (a setting, or a different program) that will know that once I have selected my contact, made my call, contacts can close, automatically? I am just using the stock contact program on my 6800 and it drives me crazy that after the phone app closes I need to take another step to close contacts. It seems like it should know that I had contacts open to make the call, action taken, no need for contacts to remain open.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack, thought of it along the lines of what other contacts options are there.
