I need some infor on this to.
I have tested, tried, installed, hacked, etc about every one i could find on 5 or more sites and no luck. I get it to accept my call (whoever) then it asks me home, work, mobile. When i give it the home, work mobile command it drops. I used the BTGateway program to get it full time audio in my earbud so i hear all the beeps, commands, voices etc. If i ask it, What is my next appt.. it reports back correctly, its just the dialing issue tha that has me stumpped. Anyone with any other ideas???

I haven't tried that one yet, but VC_Fix.CAB put my 6800 into a constant reboot. ![]() |

there is a known issue between ms voice command 1.6 w/ WM6, where the confirmation does not work properly; you say the command "call Mike home" and the voice asks "call mike at home?", you say "yes" or "correct" but the BT gateway closes and MSVC times out without completing the verification process.

I too have M$ Voice Command 1.6 with the same issue (timeout) on my Alltel PPC 6800. I am waiting for M$ to release VC 2.0 with some updates for WM6 that will remedy this. It just sucks to pay $40 for the program and it not work like it is suppose to even though it is said to be compatable. I do have 1yr of free updates w/ purchase though.

Helmi's VC 1.6 ROM in the Apache WM6 kitchen worked 100% on the Apache. Does anyone have the skill to pull it from there and try it on the Mogul?

It's amazing that VC is really the only piece of software like this out there for PPCs... the "Voice Tag" solution is obviously terrible... I'm just taken aback by the fact that my $200.00 A900 (non-PPC) phone had this feature built in (voice recognition), but my Mogul doesn't. Then again, the A900 also had GPS right out of the box... and Sprint TV. Makes you wonder.
