newbie question about disabling the Sprint Add-Ons

Is there a way to do email settings backup, hard reset, and stop the load and then resetup the emails more easily? I have five accounts that I setup, would like to preserve them.

I did the hard reset and then a soft reset before the junk could install itself. Then I made the mistake of calling customer service over the phone. Lo and behold they know what you have done and they do a OTA update. Imagine my shock on seeing that cheery yellow background on the next boot.
