Excessive Battery Drain

This started a while back, I thought the battery was EOL as it was the original battery, so I ordered a new one. Behold, the new battery lasted only a few hours longer ~8-10 (was draining in ~6 hours in sleep mode ). I've scoured the internet looking for some sort of fix and even with the appropriate power management settings in the registry and nueDynamicClock throttling the processor to ~19mhz on sleep the battery is still draining ~3-4% in half an hour in sleep with nothing running. On a side note, I pulled the phone apart and just kinda brushed off the insides and that seems to have slowed the battery drainage, not by much though. Granted I won't be using this phone much longer, I'm one of those guys who once they've found something that isn't working right, has a hard time putting it down until they've fixed it.
