Is there a list of recommended CABs to install after a non-junkware install of 2.17?
Or should I just let all the extras install, hard reset, and wait for a list to remove with Pocket Commander once the brains on this forum figure things out?
Opinions?

best thing is to search, there is sooooo many .cabs around. Make a list of what you would like to have or will use in your phone then go read the sticky! Welcome to PpcGeeks!

I can never understand why there isn't a single thread controlled by a moderator where there is a Program Name, Frequently used forum abbreviations for the program, a brief description of what it does, and a link to download. Easy for me to say...quite another to put in the time to make it happen.

Its mainly not done cause first off alot of apps arnt free, and second off cause it would be alot of work to make sure you give proper credit, have permission and permanent links to current versions...
Plus, thats the same thing as pouring sugar on your counter and waiting for ants to come bother you, there is a forum FAQ that half the new people here dont use or dont know how to use... so i would never wanna be the one to make that list... or if i do make it, id never have my name attached to it in any way... Check the software forum. There's not a single thread with all then in there, but there are a lot of good appls in various threads.

i think everyone missed what the OP was asking. if i get it right he's worried that he missed something he needed by not letting the customization run and was wondering if there is anything that needs to be put one.

All in all, Rom 2.17 seems like it is 90% in my book (Rev a and GPS will make it 99% I am sure.)
