the only thing i've noticed is that BT call volume is louder when you do not let them run. other than that i have not noticed anything "not working"

I agree with h11013. There is a sticky thread in the Apache forums listing what each of the extended_rom cabs are, what they do, and if they are required/optional/junkware. You can look at it here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=3660

It would be nice if there were something similar for the Titan.

BTW: divxrippimp, is all that in the base memory or are you heavily relying on a 6GB card

I would also like to know what cabs need/should be installed. It seems that most are not allowing the Sprint customizations to install.

BTW- There is no way all of those apps are installed on that device.

DING...Ding Ding...Yes

I killed the customizations with a soft reset and this phone is working AWESOME. TCPMP with steller video playback, slingbox is also awesome, I am viewing you tube videos with perfect av sync and clarity...and I am pulling 1024 kb down with only two bars in the "boonies"

Jawbone is working great as well with MS Command 1.6 also performing great. So far, I have not found one single flaw.

I am on the lookout for an 8m micro so I can get my ripped dvds (like Wedding crashers and all the disney videos i need to occupy the kids when we are out running errands)

this 512 is nice...but I need the big boys!

All in all, Rom 2.17 seems like it is 90% in my book (Rev a and GPS will make it 99% I am sure.)

The only thin missing that you really need is the voice signal control panel applet.
A .cpl file. It's on the ftp site. Look around you will find it.

Did you install the new radio as well or just the new OS?

OK, Here's what I have in extended ROM {2.17 & Radio 1.47}:

AddContact
DefaultRingtone.sa.cab
GetGL.cab
GroveMobile_pulgIn.sa.cab
MoveLnk.sa.cab
MP_CVSDcpl_20070129.cab
AddContacts.exe
AutoRun.ext
Config.txt

Can anyone tell me which of these contains the volume fix?
