maintenance ROM release this friday

Just read this over at XDA.. wonder what his source is.

Just heard that there is a maintenance ROM release for Sprint devices coming on Friday, 11/30. This is NOT the Rev A and GPS release. Its supposed to have some bluetooth fixes, among other things. It should be posted on the HTC website on Friday.

I dunno, i work for Sprint and I heard late 1st quarter, early 2nd quarter. I got that information from our device known issue list under the solution heading, said not to exchange handsets for this issue (alarm clock) but to educate the customer and let them know a release is scheduled for the device late 1st quarter/ early 2nd quarter. An educated guess would be feb or march.

I hope there is a maintenance release though... yay! (want my rev A though......)

I talked with HTC regarding Touch issues. They also stated there is suppose to be a fix for the Mogule around end of this week early next. We will see I will believe it when I see it.

"Sprint and HTC regret any inconvenience customers have recently experienced with the Mogul. HTC is working on a new version of the software ROM for the Mogul which incorporates enhancements for Bluetooth performance and corrects issues that were unintentionally created by ROM version 2.16.651.0 (posted on HTC’s website on October 24). Both Sprint and HTC have begun testing the new software and are targeting to make it available for download by the end of November. Once fully tested the download will be made available on this webpage. Please bookmark this page for easy reference."

If you're trying to get us to move to existing topics for this discussion, you're doing a poor job of convincing us Brady.

Two of the links are to the same post. One of them has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand, and one of them is a rumor that, so far, has absolutely no basis in fact.

EDIT: I stand corrected, because I updated the thread you posted twice. Doesn't change the fact that even duplicate threads, until deleted/merged, should contain up-to-date information on a topic.

This thread needs to be closed,
as Austinbrady hinted at, there is an OFFICIAL thread and this is just another unsubstantiated RUMOR, while it may be 100% true there is no new OFFICIAL info to back it up other than someone with 6 posts on XDA saying "this is what I've heard".

Besides the RUMOR I've heard is it's getting releaased TOMORROW 11-29, accoarding to the internal Sprint info memo.

Poor moderators, it's like a neverending uphill battle
