Yeah, I really want one, but even with "new every two" and the online discount of $100 AND the $50.00 mail in rebate (why do they still have these?) it's still $250.00!!!!!
Damn it, I'll never get my wife to leave me alone about it if I buy one.

I think you should also be able to get the Advanced Device Credit if you have the unlimited data plan. That is another $50-$100 off.

Yeah, ordered my VZW6800 yesterday… got Online-Order Discount $100, NE2 Discount $100, and Advance Device Discount $100... For a grand total of $199 +tax (free 2 day shipping). Arrives, Friday! Yippee!!!!

i ordered one yesterday. came to $199 online with all the discounts. been obsessively checking my fed ex tracking which says it was on a truck for delivery t his morning. i think there's a good chance i'll see it today. i started reading the stickies on this forum. can anyone point me to a tutorial on how to dump the ROM off it? i'd love to provide a VZW ROM dump to help hacking efforts along. i'm sure xda-developers has something, i'm probably just looking in the wrong place. TIA.

funpunx, when you get it, log into the chat forum (should be a link at the top of this page for it). Look for ImCoKeMan and he can walk you through a ROM dump. If he's not available, there should be several others there that can.
