default browser problem

if i make opera my default browser, links from emails and the like still open in PIE. is there any way to make this work correctly?

Old post, I know, but I am having the same issue. I searched and found the following thread:

worth a shot, my registry entry was already set to "OperaLaunch.exe" so I'm gonna change it to "OperaWM.exe" in the hopes that it'll fix it...
