My Mogul Freezes!

I just bought a spint mogul and it freezes sometimes. i don't understand why but, it does. I don't have any outside programs or anything like that on it.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Give us more details...

What are you doing while it freezes, what applications you have open, how much memory you have available, etc.

If you don't have any 3rd party apps/plugins one of the main reasons could be a heavy website using all your resources.

Sometimes I won't have anything up. I'll turn the phone on and it will either freeze at the "HTC" Logo or the "Windows Mobile" logo. Sometimes it will ring and freeze causing me not to be able to answer it. It just freezes for no reason, I think.

I had the sam eissue when I flashed my ROM to the upgrade that was out for a week or so before they removed it. I flashed it back and haven't had the problem since.

do u know that on wm when you hit the x button on a program it doesn't close? goto settings system memory and running programs. that will show your running programs. get a task mnager like htc task man or magic button. if you knew all this sorry for stating the obvious. just trying to help. when freezing on the boot screen im not sure.

Well by your screen name I would expect it to freeze up upon touching it....hahaha sorry had to. Nothing else carry on.

I had that problem with one of mine. Get it swapped and save yourself a ton of headaches.

I'm not sure what your joke is supposed to mean but, it doesn't matter anyway. Sprint swapped my phone for a brand new one. Problem solved.

The last 2 nights my Mogul has locked up about 1 or 2am.
Its the 3.35 Sprint Rom. I have the patch for picture mail, installed cody threaded SMS. Other then that nothing special done to it. I have not installed any new apps prior to it doing this, the device ran for a little over a week since the last app was updated or installed. The last 2 mornings i have awakened to see the unit with a yellow charging indicator, the screen half lit, and looks like i had a new text message come in. Both times was around 1am or 2am.

Anybody had this happen to them?
