ya there should be something out there for the touch...or will be soon since the touch is still fresh on the market. i have a few hacks in there already and im so in love with my touch. i almost sent it back when i first got it because it didnt have the ability to send pictures to a phone number only email but a hack fixed that and now i wouldnt trade it for the world hehe

This may be asking a bit much-- just curious to know if it can be done-- or if there is already somwhere on this site or any other one that tells me how please let me know... I would like to change the paths of the quicklauncher-- I'm fine with the icons-- I just want to change what they go to-- like the tv-- being able to launch youtube
and the magnifying lens opening file explorer... does that make sense? can this be done?

only to launch you internet explorer unless you have youtube loaded as a program. If you are using a media player of some kind, you must edit XML files to support the path way to the program correctly. Check earlier post for the files, edit the pathway before the .exe to the program you want it to go to drop inwindows folder and reset. Hope this helps.

I have a HTC Mogul 6800, If I just wanted the user interface and not the cube what would I have to do? Is it possible to just install the interface theme w/o the cube?

look for HTC today theme and HTC home to get the look of HTC Touch.

i am new to all of this...so bear with me...I need to get the quickcontact thing back on the home screen...and it says to delete something in the registry...but I don't know how to do that...and I only have 3 seperators on the home screen...I want it to look like the one in the image at the beginning of the threat...any help is appreciated

If you dont have a registry editor, or know what that is, you will have to find a different version of the home plug and download it.

If you do some research here is the edit, find it, delete it, but it is complex for me to tell all what it means:

HKLM\Software\OEM\MASD\QuickDial

so what programs actually messes with my homescreen out of all 4?

because i installed everything and now i cant see my "favortie people" in my htc homescreen anymore....and all i wanted was the touch cube effect on my fone....

help please thanks

The cube i believe causes that reg edit, but i did not write that code soim not sure. After the cube is installed you may try HTC Home version that is going aroud that doesnt enable the ringtone selection from profiles, removed q dial and a customizable home plug. I am running v.2 with a reg edit to bring the q dial back. The one you need to try is a 6 button kaiser version 1.something. If you cannot do a reg edit to return the quick dial., try find the 6 button version.1 see if that works

Please forgive me if this as been posted in this thread already but there are a ton of pages and reading every one to find one file would be frivolous at best.

I am looking for Vista Icons to replace the icons in the Sprint Home plugin(the one beneath the HTC Home). I do not want to remap the icons to other apps or anything like that, I just want Vista Themed icons to go with a ROM I am currently working on. I would very much appreciate any help on this one.
