Yeah, I mean if a dinky Motorola V3C Razr can do it, then our phone sure as hell should be able to easily be hacked up to do it. Pretty bizarre that Telus would strip MMS functionality out of their WM ROM. In the WM6 upgrade why didn't they add mms functionality... all it is is addressing and such, no? Since all other HTC Tytn/Kaiser etc phones have this functionality in their roms.

Hey Alex, MMS = Multimedia Messaging Service. Basically an evolution of your standard SMS (text message). With MMS, you can send picture, audio, video as if it were a text message. For more info: http://www.gsmworld.com/technology/mms/whatis_mms.shtml

Still nothing on this eh? So lame how Rogers/Fido publicly release the IP's and addresses of their MMS servers but Telus does not. Regardless, since Telus does offer MMS with other phones (Razor V3C I know for one) you'd think someone could somehow sniff the data stream off one of the phones that support MMS and grab the IP/server address that way? I guess in order to do that you'd need a data sniffer program ON the phone and I don't think I've ever seen that... still... there has to be a way!
