Alarm problems related to daylight savings time change.

Hey guys, I tried a search on this and didn't have much luck so I decided to make a thread. OK, I have my alarm set to go off at 7:00am, 12:50pm and 5:50pm and they ALL seem to go off an hour early. It's obviously somehow related to DST and I can't seem to fix it. Any ideas guys?

Yeah it does, an hour early though! That's just as bad as it not going off at all. If you're referring to the alarm not going off while it's charging, I remedied that by disabling "turn off device if not used for..." while on external power and setting the backlight to "turn off backlight if device is not used for 1 min" on external power as well as keeping the phone face down so that bright LED doesn't bother me when falling asleep. I'm holding off on the ROM upgrades til something worthwhile to me comes out.

My alarm is set to go off at 6:15. First use after DST change my alarm went off at 5:15 and 6:15. I did a soft reset and it's been working fine since. I'm using the 2.16 ROM. I'm also not using the stock alarm. I'm using the alarm inside Mort Player so that the alarm is an mp3 file. Don't know if which alarm your using makes a difference.

I've done numerous soft resets and power-downs. I've even changed the alarms and tried turning them off and I'm still getting the same problem. I've been using the stock alarm since day one. =/

If you go the windows mobile website you can download the patch, which the rom is supposed to have anyway. I did and it cured this hiccup...
Go figure a rom that won't do what it is supposed to? A novel concept

Try turning off phone, remove battery for 10 minutes. Sometimes I get double alarms or tripple alarms and this clears it up. Tends to start happening after a lockup.
