Rom developers... the BT stack on the Touch works- - Page 8

Great work. I'm still more stable than I've been with the phone since purchase. I intend on trying your new upload later today to see if it helps the dpad issue by changing the radio.

My dpad has been working fine today. It did lock up slightly last night when phone and headset were seperated, but when they were back together, it seemed to resolve itself. Almost seemed like it wasn't the dpad but was like a memory issue. Who knows.

All I know is that the bluetooth is a bazzillion times better than anything to date. I actually had to turn it down today which is a shock. Everyone said sound is great and I've put around 75 minutes of calls in this am alone.

I think you're far to hasty to use a phrase like "memory issue". That sounds far more to me like a sleep/resume issue?

What I mean is that it "acted" like it was low on memory (obviously not the case) and once the BT is in range, the dpad worked OK again. even with the balky dpad, I could still use the stylus to move around and it seemed to be very quick.

Definitely not a sleep/resume issue (like the original dpad issue) It is more like it is trying to stay in contact with the BT when seperated and locks it up until it finds the headset again. Interestingly, it did it this AM with my BT GPS as well. Bring it back into range and all is well.

Weird.

No error here. Just flashed to it. I liked the one I put on last night a ton. So far this one seems pretty good as well. BT is as clear, still waiting to uncover the dpad though

Your download was probably corrupted. Delete the rar, download it again, and then try it.

The radio. the first has v1.47 radio, the latter has v1.40.

you might note, that the rom that went out last night was EVERYTHING on the 2.16 rom released from htc. except the bt is "improved"with the touch drivers, and i dumped total commander + the free games readily avail in most kitches. otherwise its the same as if you were putting the 2.16 rom from htc on.
