Personally, I use Opera. It loads pages faster, it formats them better, it remembers passwords, etc.

MiniMo runs too slowly and really would look best on a VGA screen, I think Picsel is way too buggy, NetFront never worked right for me, and Opera Mini is great but limited, ie., large webpages get split into multiple pages. Out of all of them, if you're looking for speed, Opera Mini is the fastest. Stability, I'd say Opera. Usability, definitely Opera... but compatibility is split between Opera and PIE. PIE I only use when something won't load in Opera.

Its a free 30-day trial.

Its worth the money though if you don't want to pay for it, you can easily find it online.

Opera Mini, fast, free, and awesome.

I use Opera Mini for 99% of my browsing, I have Opera Mobile installed, but I find myself never using it. The only other browser I use is Internet Explorer, because that's the only browser that works with the Youtube/Google Video/Flash video plugins.

Here's a howto on setting it up:
http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...t-manager.html

The above tutorial is based on beta 2, but the instructions apply to the final version (which was released today).

I've tried by PIE and Opera Mini.. I like the way Mini renders pages where you can zoom, but I hate that it acts quirly with certain web pages and you can't copy paste from the app.

Am I just doomed? It seems like there isn't a one stop solution. I have a lot of things I can't run in either browser.

Is this the general consensus? Just accept that many sites just won't work like a normal desktop? Sites with flash? ESPN videos, Fantasy Football stat tracker via Yahoo, my work webmail. The list goes on on what I can't do with these mobile browsers.

You can do YouTube/Certain Flash Video websites with the Flash Plugin for Pocket Internet Explorer. But no mobile web browser, including the iPhone's Safari browser, can do general flash. I have no problem logging into Yahoo Mail via Opera Mini. Which webmail app are you using? Also, most web browsers have problems with heavily Ajax'ed/javascripted web pages. That's just the current state of affairs. But more web sites are becoming mobile aware, and offering mobile versions of their content. In some cases, for the major portals, dedicated applications are offered as front end interfaces for mobile devices. Such as the Google Maps, Microsoft Live Search Mobile, and Yahoo! To Go applications. Also since the Mogul can run Java apps, we can some of the Java front end applications, such as Google Mail for Java devices.

When I started the download Opera mini it warned me of charges. I have the SERO plan, so I won't encounter any charges right?
