create a shortcut to a phone number

I'm sure this is a very newbie question but I've never really thought about doing it for myself but someone asked so now I would like to know. I use SPB pocket plus. Can I make a shortcut that goes straight to a phone number so I can press the shortcut on my today screen and dial that number. I figure it is very possible but have no idea how to do it.

Ive asked this question before, and the only way that I was able to do it was to Install Mortscript and VJPhoneTools (and create the following script

InsertNameHere.mscr

Code:

 
Number="INSERTPHONENUMBERHERE"
Run( "/program files/vijay555/vdialer.exe",&Number)

Assuming that VJPhoneTools was installed to the device. Then Map InsertNameHere.mscr to whatever/wherever you want

Thanks. Basically all I want is the voicemail line on the today screen with an older firmware.

vj555 phone tools has a great shortcut to launch speed dialer.exe . You can use that .exe with spb or a hardware button. It's very convenient!
