green phone button stop working

suddenly the green phone button stopped working - when I press it nothing happens. any ideas?

Same thing on mine. Yet another annoying thing with this POS phone. garbage hardware.

Mine too does not work along with the FN key on the keyboard. How about you guys?

If you have insurance replace it free.

Look for the phone exe in the windows folder. The file is called something like Phone or pPhone. Copy a shortcut to the StartMenu folder and remap a hardware button to the shortcut.

thanks - I already figured that out but I'd sure like to get the green button to work - must be somthing wrong with it physically - anyway to check that out? ie. whether it's a hardware or software issue with that button?

Pretty sure it is a hardware failure.
