New ROM From Sprint on 11/4/07? Maybe even REV A

Hay all,
Now please don't slam me. I am currently on the phone with Tier 3 tech support. I have been talking about all the problems with the 2.09 and the 2.16, and they do admit they know about it, and said that HTC rushed the other one. I have been told that a new ROM will be release on Nov 4 or within a few days, since the same problems we have also affect the Touch.
this rep said he was testing the new ROM, and that it will have RAV A and the GPs functions with it. On the other side I was told that since our Mogul does not function properly we can swap them out for other phones in the same price range.

Honestly, why even bother thinking that it may be true. It is much better to just pass it as a bad rumor, like most, and be pleasantly surprised if such an update were to be released. No offense to glidersgalore, but I don't believe that it MIGHT even be true. I'm sure that at least 90% of the population feels the same. Most people are just reading the initial post and laughing.

Trust me, i know I've been through it before also. all I can by is that is what I was told. Try and call and see wht you find out, just ask for tier 2 or tier 3 support.

I don't blame glidersgalore. What reason would he/she have for making this up? If it turns out to be false (which I'm sure it will), it just makes you look bad for starting the rumor. I blame Sprint and HTC for causing all this madness to begin with.

First of all 11/04/07 is a sunday and i dont think htc is working that hard to fix all the problems if they did this thread wouldnt have existed.

Maybe HTC meant early FY08 (which would be now for most companies). I know I'm reaching here but I'm trying to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
