At the moment there isn't an easy way to relock after the unlock, but there is no problem with keeping the unlocked SPL for loading regular roms. I have no idea where that is posted and why people are getting confused, but if you read it somewhere please send me the link so i can clear it up. The fact that it says Olipro in the SPL will not be a big deal to just about anyone either for warranty work, but the next version will hae a way to go back to stock.

i flashed the 1.40 radio a few hours ago, and reinstalled my programs/themes...no problems so far (outside of the usual RAM leak...meh...)...I'll be back with updates later...hopefully I can go a full day without a hard reset.

oh my frustration sets in
This is so frustrating.
"On reboot the phone was stuck in the bootloader" all of the instruction require an error to work. LOL! Mine doesn't get stuck. Now what? no instruction to update radio to 1.40 |

Quote:
Place the radio nbh into a folder with the Rom Update Utility. Activesync Launch RUU Click through to upgrade the radio. You don't need any sort of error to accomplish this..... If you don't have 2.16 on the phone then follow the same process as above with the 2.16 OS Only nbh if you want 2.16. I've flashed several times and have yet to get stuck in the boot loader. |

There is an "error" in the message that you get during the unlock -- it says unplug and re-plug USB cable and to "re-establish Activesync" connection -- The Activesync connection does "not" get re-established (and doesn't have to be re-established) -- Just press on with the unlock after plugging the USB cable back in and all will work fine...

Same here (though I don't currently use BT)... My phone has done very well with the 2.16/1.40 combination... I have traveled today through good signal, poor signal, 1x, evdo, no data, roaming, and Sprint areas - the phone has performed properly -- no lock up's or issues. I'll be doing more of this tomorrow - hoping for more of the same.
