Just got this phone. COMPLETELY NEW TO EVERYTHING HERE

Alright Today i just bought my Mogul
PPC-6800

Completely coolness :P

Either way I want to make my phone completely Elite Status.
Anyone point me in the right direction that would be so-pro.
A list or anything on directions on how to do this right would be perfect.

I enjoy the HTC Homeplugin and weather panel. They give me all the info i want on the today screen. There are lots more goodies floating around here, just read thru the stickies. Enjoy your new purchase!

This might help you with my detailed step by step WM guides geared for the noobie. The first two parts cover how to install programs, copy files to your phone, the must have software, recommended software, and even where to get free software. By the end of the week I am hoping to have finished the next part that includes how to increase onehanded useability, how to do reg hacks, how to organize your menus, and how to extend your battery life.

WM Guide for All Levels

just take in all the info little by little. im fairly new as well but i've learned heap loads in the past 3 months. ive learned that nobody on this site will hold you by the hand and tell you everything you need to know. you just have to ask questions here and there but mainly just read and absorb.
start off by installing the HTC Home Plugin as stated above, then go on to install PocketCM, then install HTC Camera Album. just use the search function for those programs. good luck.

i'd recommend you follow the advise above, and spend some time poking around and trying things out. knowledge is everythinng and there is tons of it on here.

over the next couple weeks we HOPE the rom team will be releaseing a toolset that will let you do amazing things w/ this phone.

If you're in a big hurry the other option would be to get and install colonels rom. note that this is a very early implementation on the phone and may well have problems, but it is a big step towards having a "way kewl" phone...

welcome to the titan

ever since the mogul has no default IM client, here's a good one that is a great recommendation to me from another member, but you'll have to download it to your PC after you register to the site... http://www.palringo.com is the place you gotta go, so if you got anything, feel free to ask.

You can improve the asthetics if you like, these are nice skins that don't add much bulk to the phone, but do offer some protection
