Lots of people have downgraded.
I had 3 DSODs in the 1st 4 hours with the new ROM, and quickly went back. WRT DSOD, a clean 2.19 install (no apps, etc.) was even worse than my original out-of-box 6700 with lots of apps installed. I didn't think that was possible! |

Then you may not have downgraded correctly. Suggest: Download a new copy of the 2.09 ROM Hard reset Install ROM Hard reset |

Yup, I down graded, too after experiencing the lockups and dpad issues. I sent an email to Sprint support reporting the issues, but I still having gotten any kind of reply from them.

everybody should email them. the more the merrier.
""Thank you for contacting Sprint. These are issues that users are reporting with the latest ROM update released by HTC a few days ago. We are working with HTC to get another update released that corrects these issues. We do not have a timeframe at this time for the release of the corrections but we are working with HTC to get a corrected update to customers as fast as possible. Thank you for contacting Sprint. We appreciate your business."" |

Yeah wassup everybody um the friend the original poster was talking about. I yesterday had to soft reset my phone 13 time 5 of them within 1 hour. Once I got home I quickly downgraded to ver. 2.09 . Its really a shame sprint/htc would allow such a crummy rom to be released to the public. And the would be cool if someone extracted the newer sprint startup screen as that was the best thing about the rom lol. Anyway I could not be happier with my older working rom. Because bluetooth and roaming are important to me as its a necessity for where I work to use my phone.
