New ROM Troubles

Ok,
So i installed the new 2.16... ROM and the reinstalled the apps i had before. (Arcsoft MMS, HTC X-Button, WeatherPanel, and Remote Desktop), and they are all installed onto my device. Thats it, and now my phone is SUPER SLOW. Like if i receive a text message and i hit the today screen bar for the text it cant take literally 20 seconds before the text message screen opens! And even think about using the buttons to open IE or Texts its damn near impossible. Could it be that i installed the apps on the device, should i have installed any of them to my card? Im wanting any help bc this is REALLY KILLING ME. Thanks in Advance for Any Input Provided.

installing on to the sd card really will just make them slower. i would recomend reinstalling the rom agian. and then do another hardreset afterwards a second time.

I disagree with the sd card statement. I've tried this both ways, and have actually noticed better performance from installing onto the SD card. I also think there was a thread on here a while back where someone did a data transfer speed comparison and found that the SD card transfers the data faster than the ROM.

Its the radio part of the ROM. You're lucky your device isn't freezing on you completely. This update was a big waste of time... your device will run smoother if you flash to at least an earlier RADIO rom, such as 1.40
