I never bought the insurance before, last time i bought a phone through sprint (Samsung A-920) they said i had like 30 days to make up my mind if i wanted to buy the insurance. I let the time elapse so i figured i was sh!t out of luck. When i replaced the 920 with the Mogul i just swapped the ESN.
I didn't know you can buy the insurance on a phone not purchased through Sprint! edit: i just went to my account online to see if i could add the insurance for 7 bucks a month to my current plan, and it won't allow it. So it looks like i'm SOL.

Yeah you are. I say buy a mogul cheap on ebay for like $50 and use it for parts. Or just upgrade to a new phone, the TP2 is great.
