Can the BT fixes from .16 be used on .09 if extracted?

My mogul is currently .09, I am really happy with it's performance and with how it's set up, so I honestly have no reason to update to .16 except for the bluetooth fix as I already have the keyboard fix from the altell rom, and plan on updating the radio to .47 manually. Is the BT fix with this rom a driver or something along the lines that can be removed from the rom and converted to a cab, or will I be forced to update to .16 just for the bluetooth fix?

I appreciate any info and advice on this,

Great question. I was wondering about this myself. I myself need bt fix but I finally got this phone the way I want it. We will see. Since someone pulled the keyboard fix from the alltel I would guess it might happen. Any thoughts of it being possible?

I'm pretty sure the BT fix was pulled from the Altel as well, might be on this forum or xda-developers.
