Couldn't agree more with putting it in the fact section I too had the same problem awhile back and about went crazy for trying to figure it out and it turned out to be so simple in the end. LOL.

to do this you must go in through pictures and videos\select the picture\tap and hold\select set as today screen\a new screen will come up and allow you to choose the gradiant of the screen go 0 and all will be well
