I wonder if resetting the phone during a ROM update after it gives you the 3 second warning does anything harmful?

I called HTC and they told me that Sprint supports the Mogul. God help us
You can go ahead and soft reset the phone before the customization starts after a haed reset. Many people do it and it has been discussed before. Run a search before doing it though, there are a couple of things that may not work. If you don't use them, then you don't need to worry about them.

Please don't ask which ones they are, they have already been posted on this thread. I know the thread s long, but it's on the earliest posts.

But today I took my Mougl to my sprint repair center, due to invisible text and constant freezing, and the rep I spoke to told ot me to go the HTC site and get the new ROM. Even if Sprint is not covering it yet, he claimed it should fix my problems.

Gave me a link and im currently download 2.16 now.
All this thread is about the 2.16 ROM, it has actually been removed from HTC's site. The direct link may work, but it is not recommended to install it as it broke more things than it fixed.

Can anyone tell me how much free space is left if you don't let the customizations run? I don't think this was stated anywhere in this thread.

Man 2.16 really did a number on my device. After being advised by Sprint rep to update my device for improved performance and slight memory increase it made my device a nightmare to use. First the dreaded locking up while being idle, my notifications were very low and hardly noticable during alerts. I had major lag opening and closing normal apps.

End result last nite i flashed mine back to 2.09 and now things are the way I had it before. I hardly use BT if at all so not a big deal for me. Just a stable fone all over again.!

Did anything ever come of this? Is there no way to extract the 2.08 ROM and make it available to us?

I initially had some problems with lockups, but have not had a lockup in about a week now. This is even in my office which has poor reception and constantly switches between 1x, EV, and no signal. I do experience bluetooth turning off, but overall the device is more responsive and I'm sticking with 2.16.

I'm sticking with 2.16 too, the alarm fix is enough reason for me to stay.

The only bluetooth device I have is my car, and while it pisses me off that I can't use it, it's not vital to my life. I feel for you guys who actually need working bluetooth.
