I will be comparing my updated mogul with a few that haven't been updated. If you want me to compare things easy to test please let me know and any special codes I need to enter: e.g. test signal strength in db - pull up keyboard and press...

I installed the update as well. The phone does feel a little snappier than before. It could just be my imagination though. I tried the phone alarm last night while the phone was charging, and it actually went off. I will test again tonight. I haven't tested the BT yet. Has anyone had a chance to really test if the BT was fixed? Thanks.

I have to disagree with sinn. the backlight issue seems to be resolved with this rom. no more flickering and changing colors here.

I noticed this as well. I made sure the Policies registry entries were updated and it still won't install. That sucks.

I may go back and allow these 'extras' to install so I can get those sounds.
Ok...so I'm not a fan of the caps lock, but maybe this will help...

IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO RESTORE FULL DEVICE BACKUPS OVER NEW ROM UPDATES.

Like I said, I am not a fan of shouting, but it has been discussed many times over this thread and countless others that restoring a full device backup (like SPB Backup) will over write new system files with old. You can restore your PIM data and your My Documents, but don't restore the rest.

------------------

Also, I am noticing that this ROM has a little better memory management. I run a ton of stuff from the today screen and hate when the device gets slow, resulting me in removing things from the today screen. I could be wrong of course, but I do believe someone else made this comment earlier...

There is so much chatter in this threat but I thought Id chime in and say the upgrade went smooth for me last night. I ran out to my Nissan Altima with bluetooth and called my wife and it was much much better than before, she could actually hear me. I will try it again after work but the initial testing looks good. The phone seems much more responsive as well after the reload, I likely had junk on there i didn't need.

I flashed over last night....
BT issues are still there, I had better reception and connection with the Colonel's last ROM.
No issues as far as installing program and battery life is around 10% better so far.
Other than that looks like Sprint fooled everyone again..
But boy that new boot up screen is worth the wait huh>?
