Messaging window pops up when phone turns on, don't know how to stop it

Anytime my phone turns on, either from a soft reset, or if the power has been off for awhile, my messaging window comes up (where I can see all my text messages).

I've tried searching for something like ths on here, but haven't had any luck.

Anyone know how I can stop that from happening. It's just annoying to see my text message (messaging) window every time instead of my today page.

-- Oh, and I should add that even if I haven't used messaging, it still pops up. If the last thing I used was any other program, the messaging window is still the one that shows when I turn the power on.
