Try to get an invite to Google's "Grand Central", it has a call record feature.

There are a lot of loopholes. For instance, if one party, usually a business, notifies you that "this call may be recorded for quality purposes", or training, etc., it is legal for you to record it without telling them. That issue was resolved in court years ago. And the law is state-by-state, not country-wide in the US. And if you start receiving treatening calls, you can record them.

It's actually a state by state scenario. In Texas, the law states something like at least one member of the conversation must know the call is being recorded. So, if I'm on the call and recording, I know I'm recording so I'm within the law. Bsically, it means you are allowed to record your own calls.

With my 6700 I used to have to put in on speaker phone and then use the record bar in notes. When I first got the mogul, I found that rescoe program and installed it. It didn't work. In fact it failed misserably. I tried to uninstall it and now the record feature doesn't even work when the speaker phone is on. Don't know if the rescoe app caused that or if it is a 6800 problem.
