Jay, Sprint has most likely limited login to Sprint IP's so I don't think an Alltel phone would work. Thanks for the help though!

Jokeman if you did any research other than just here you would know that alltel uses Oz messaging in their axcess services so saying that it's because of Sprint IP's is probably incorrect. Just for you information I have also had Sprint TV working on my Alltell 6800. The only thing I couldn't do was purchase the premium channels. Most of the programs are capable of being used on more than just one carriers version.

has any body tried changing the gateway or server to the regular aim server i believe its sip.oscar.aol.com i might be wrong but then sprint wouldn't have to authenticate the user and you can bypass to the sever and use the application >?

ScottishWarrior, I did do some research, and had you done yours and looked into the settings file you would know that there are servers for each carrier.

Below is a list of the Sprint Servers:

AIMCLOGINURL:https://aim.imgateway.sprintpcs.com:443
MSNCLOGINURL:https://msn.imgateway.sprintpcs.com:443
YHOOCLOGINURL:https://yahoo.imgateway.sprintpcs.com:443

If you're going to question somebody you should have the proof to back it up, don't you think?

It would be nice to see what settings are used in the regular java application that they include on the phones. I haven't be able to get my hands on it though....

HTCMogul973, no anger here, I think I responded rather calmly to a comment that was clearly attacking me. Regardless, if you could upload your settings in the "settings.cfg" in the \Program Files\Instant Messaging or PM it to me, I can see if the problem lies there.

Thanks!

I got the Sprint TV to work fine on my Sprint 6700 WM6, but I can not access any of my premium channels.

I have rebooted, uninstalled, reinstalled, gone through all menus, but no premium (live) tv.

I thought maybe "unsubscribing" would give me an option to "subscribe" again making it work, but I now don't have the option to subscribe again.

Anyone have any ideas...?

Thanks!!!
