Hey guys.. new user here so don't go too hard on me, lol. I'm debating installing this ROM, but wanted to know what I need to download or run first.. I'm guessing I need to run the titan unlocker thing (if someone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it).. Also, as far as installing the radio (1.40) I'd imagine I do that the same way? And lastly, the new splash screens (i have the .nbh file) how do I install that? If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it. Orale and Thanks!

Holy crap this is one fast ROM (the new test ROM)

Free RAM on fresh flash is pretty lame though. About 5MB less than I get with the stock Sprint ROM when skipping customizations.

If it functions better though, that point is moot. So far, its FAST. I've never seen a PocketPC be so responsive before.

Custom Rom

I'm a new forum meber too, but am excited about trying dcd's custom ROM. I noticed a few members in the last few postes mention that they are pleased with the new test ROM.. Did I miss it? Is a new ROM available, and if so, how do I download it? AGain, I am pretty new to this, so please forgive my ignorance or improper etiquette. Thanks.

Top of the screen on this page you'll see "QLinks", click on "Open FTP Site".

You should be able to find all the ROMs and tools there. Look at the "sticky" messages at the top of the Titan forum and there should be a tutorial on how to flash ROMs.

Hope this helps, enjoy.

look at the first post. i have a release and a beta posted. they msut be talking about the beta.

the low ram is due to increased pagepool. i can drop the pagepool to increase the free mem, but it wont be as fast. like you said if it functions better its a moot point - thats my mentality. i have no plans to change from 8mb pagepool to anything else.

I figured that's what it was. Memory usage isn't near as bad with this beta as it was with 2.09... I got a bit pissed off about my memory going down to 4-7MB free after closing all my apps...

Finally got it unlocked successfully after many many attempts earlier this afternoon. I must of reset the phone about 10+ times! For some reason I was just getting stuck on the 1.10? load screen just about every time. It finally went through the whole setup and now I have the first of your ROM loaded up. Time to play with it a little and see what's there.

Thanks again.

Hey all,
I was on the road this weekend and wanted to get online w/ my lappy through my Mogul. When I connected through Windows Mobile Center (I have been able to connect with Vista before) and press USB to PC, the screen flickers and nothing happens. Was this program taken out? Is there something I'm missing?
