dcd's clean rom for Titan

ok, what is going on? why am i soo lost. i need a book for dummies because i see everyone on here gettin dcd's rom and i cant find it for s**T. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME. I NEED MMS. AND I MADE THE MISTAKE OF DOWNLOADING THE 2.16 FROM HTC WEBSITE SO WHAT DO I DO FROM HERE?

READ/SEARCH THE FORUMS. If you would have read the sticky threads at the top of the Titan forum, you wouldn't be asking this question right now. Another thing you could do from here is join in the chat room.

no problems here. dcd seems to have the best running rom so far (that is until i figure out how to do it. lol)

first thing... make sure you have your device unlocked... http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=9093

then download the RUU from imcokeman ftp. go to the top and hit "quicklinks" then hit "titan" then "users" then "imcokeman". download the ruu.rar and the extract and run it. now in this ruu folder you will place the nbh file (or rom you download from dcd's ftp). once you get it in there, run the romupdateulitiy.

not the best write up, but it still works.

just for the record... there is nothing wrong with dcd's roms. it is the user. but we can fix that. that's why we're here.

ur reply made me realize my error, i never fully went through with the titanunlocker. once it kicked into Olipro BL, i just disconnected it instead of using his flash util first then flashing the rom i wanted. i now have dcd's r1.5 flashing on my phone. thank you

edit --> just realized internet doesn't work now, try the dcd sprint IOTA cab, but i just got an error code 1012, calling sprint now to see if they can fix it

Here's a silly question. I need to use Help, but its shortcut is not located in the Programs folder nor can I enable its Start Menu shortcut. How can I access it?

i believe, if u are using dcd's rom, that he took the help option out of it

Ah, gotcha. Not a problem as it turned out the program had an .html help file in /Windows.

so i just called cust care cause my internet wasn't working after installing the r1.5, and trying the dcd IOTA cab. i installed the reg rom b4 calling and it still wasn't working, so when i called they did something so that now its working again, gonna reinstall the cust rom and try again

Thanks again for helping me out DCD. I reflashed ur ROM and the IOTA.cab worked flawlessly. I'm mobile again!!!(in regards to gettin on the net anywhere)
