DCD, I love the idea that you put forth by creating this thread and I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds by asking this. As stated before in this thread (many times) it is apperant that people have different ideas of what should actually be in their ROM. I like some of what you have done but would really like adobe and Office back in the rom along with a VPN client. Now I know that those are not going to be universally wanted by everyone.
So what I would ask is that instead of investing a lot of time creating an update to this ROM if you could spend time creating tutorial that would teach people how you are creating the ROM's kinda like this one: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ght=create+rom
I think that this would benefit a lot of people and would keep it so that those who are using your ROM are just the people who want the stripped ROM that you make. I hope I'm not offending anyone but I think this would be very beneficial to me and others on this site who don't yet have a (kitchen?) easy way of knowing how to make a ROM

actually, i am redoing the rom, and i am leaving adobe and office in. removing office appearntly breaks the 'notes' feature that i do use and need.
funny thing is, that tutorial you pasted was the tutorial i was originally following. i wont turn this thread into how to customize a rom, but if you can figure out how to get back and forth from a dump of the rom contents, you can use those directions. however, id suggest waiting. you will see nicer tools for titan in the future. i think that what you are asking for is a kitchen. trying to have everyone manually rip into the rom to make their own personalizations would be a huge mess.
ive already got a "clean" alltel os with sprint settings recreated. i need to tweak my stuff before its ready. maybe today but who knows.
