well some of this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=335674
and some of this: http://www.htcamerica.net/support/p4...downloads.html
and some of my original work, and some new stuff. but...

i am using no2chems amazing xip work, and while im testing privately right now i borrowed his SYS too. im pretty sure hes done alot of work to the core OS and i would just reccomend you use his ROM before I would rip off his awesome work. part of why my aku 0.2.3 build is the latest is because it was the latest i created that was 100% my work.

i may create more cool stuff using no2chem's XIP, but as for a clean rom on 0.7.0 base, hes already done it, ive run it, and its great. why reinvent the wheel

also im never completely sure what im going to do, im just messing around with the rom all the time and when its convenient for me i package one up for you guys

Great ROM for a recent convert from the Apache community. Thanks for that.

I have a few remaining questions/issues re connectivity (WModem + ICS):
1. WModem - If you can get it in and working, great. It is awesome to be able to do the direct tethering without the bugginess.
2. ICS - Even though it is admittedly buggy, it nevertheless has a certain coolness factor working for it. Saridnour (Apache community) got it working nicely over with his latest ROM (WM5/WM6 hybrid for Apache), so I do not know if he could be a resource to get it done. Also, the recent hack at xda-developers (allowing one to hack ICS to use Mogul as an Access Point - see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=332360 and TalynOne's efforts at post 175) adds additional functionality that no other phone has; use of the on/off switch for Wi-Fi for the Mogul in this regard is awesome.

I also have a couple of questions/issues re compatibility:
3. ## Codes: It is not clear to me that the ## Codes work for Sprint. They should, as not having them work has required me to reinstall the Sprint basic ROM to get Internet connection issues resolved, and then reinstall your ROM after Internet connection issues were resolved.
4. Schap's VOIP and Configuration Tools: These tools (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=317070 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299950) are just plain awesome. Unfortunately, something removed from your ROM ends up breaking the functionality of those Schapp tools. Any chance those can be made to work? I am working on it, but am an admitted noobee. At a minimum, these tools would permit us (in addition to the WiFi functionality above) to make our phones into true SIP phones as added functionality.

Thanks again for a great ROM, and for considering my comments above.

hey man, i have uploaded dcd1.4.3_VOIP_TEST.exe, can you try it?

this includes the VOIP files I think you are looking for

it also includes the sprint ## codes, they are activated with trailing # instead of send now
one problem with the ##codes, EPST still closes itself on some commands, not sure why but im working on it.

it also has internet sharing, but doesnt have the hacked dlls. i need to convert the dll to a module before i replace it in the rom.

aku is 0.7.0 thanks to no2chem - this uses his XIP

also note, this is just for you to test voip. i dont think everybody should flash this rom. and it has no mms.

Can test, but not until 11/1

Thanks for the amazing response.

I am in the middle of end of month billings, so I won't be able to turn to this until tomorrow. Also, just so you know re: VOIP, I have an account at my house, but have never configured it on a cell phone (I just saw the posts over at xda-developers, and thought that it would be cool functionality to have). So, my testing VOIP on this baby may be touch and go (and not timely), and you may want to invite the forum more generally for other testers of VOIP.

I will download in background now, and install tomorrow beginning midday (end of month time cut-off).

Thanks again. Again, great, responsive work.

no problem. i need to do some more work and documentation, in fact, once youre done downloading ill probably delete (for now)

i couldnt get the today plugin to show up, and i thought i read a while back that voip on the mogul only plays thru the speakerphone, but i could be confused. let me know what you find, i think it sounds cool and i might use it myself.

this is true...and it plays at like 1/3rd of the volume for no reason. i read somewhere that the cdma winmo is missing some dlls and/or registry entries which makes the plugin not work. it also works through a headset but again, it's extremely quiet.

well, im actually pulling that stuff from WM6 roms for GSM devices. the voip package i put in that rom today should be identical to whats in the kaiser, hermes, universal, etc etc roms. id guess an OEM driver is the problem. my rom is using the alltel drivers still, but if you get VoIP going and you want to try, i have a few other driver versions from other titan roms we can try.
