not that the free hotspot matters. the vzw hotspot doesnt work very good. it works fast for the first few minutes then slows down for some reason. i started using PDAnet usb tether and although not as convenient as wifi tether (which i still use when i dont have a usb cable like in school) it is a lot faster. i think theres a paid version but the free version works fine for me.

It was a promo that ended on July 6th actually. No grandfathering on this unfortunately.

I recommend easy tether. It's better than pdanet and on amazon it only costs 4.99 for a limited time.
