Verizon Update Available for Thunderbolt
My phone's been spontaneously shutting down & restarting, lately. So, I checked to see if there was an update that I needed. Well the only software update I've found is from Verizon, not HTC. Has anyone done this update. Will it keep me from being able to root, later, if I choose to? The file name is as follows: Mecha_VERIZON_WWE_1.13.605.7-1.12.605.6
Size is 35.649 MB Any experiences or thoughts? TIA |

Thanks, I've been just delaying the update. Now, I can go ahead & just decline it. I think I'll be checking here before each update. Why world they release a corrupt update, in the first place?

Re: Verizon Update Available for Thunderbolt
Well, my TB still reboots itself about once a week. Unless I'm doing a huge file download by Bluetooth. That will crash it for sure. Anyway, there have been at least 2 more updates, both quite recent. Any news on those?
The newest one they are pushing is 1.70.605.0 Last edited by leeco; 08-04-2011 at 06:46 PM. |
