Samsung Vids wont play on Thunderbolt or HTC phones?
Having a problem with playing a customers videos that were shot on an old Samsung phone on a new thunderbolt . The video will play but there isnt ant sound playing. I took out his SD card an put it in my EVO an still the same issue. Is their a reason why Samsung Vids can't be played on HTC phones? Is there an Application in the market we can download to play the videos? I tried downloading a few but still no luck.

the same thing happens when one tries to play a video from a MOTO phone on a different device. what often happens is these manufacturers often produce their own codecs that are used for the videos. alot of manufacturers do it actually and its not even limited to smartphone cameras. I don't know why manufacturers don't just use a more standard codec such as .avi or .wmv it would avoid a whole shitload of problems.
