TB stopped compressing vids?

Hi there. I've been sending video messages to my wife of our daughter since I got the TB on day 2 of it's release. It records in HD, and when I send it over MMS it automatically compressed the videos before attaching it and sending. Today I tried sending a video, and the menu command for sending is missing from the video album, and it will not compress or allow me to send when attaching in the messaging app.

Any ideas on what I might have done? I've searched through the messaging settings and didn't find any options for compressing anything.

I'm just curious are other people able to compress pictures and videos before sending via mms? Maybe this is not a stock feature and I just deleted the program that was doing it for me.
