Re: Ozone/Snap Compatible Apps
Slingplayer SM works great.
Proxycab will but you have to use MyMobiler to set it up from your PC. HTML Data from Cricket works fine and was getting speeds of 500kbps. Instead of 90.

Instead, from the Snap, I hit mobile.slingmedia.com and told the website I was using a Samsung BlackJack. That got me the install file "SlingPlayer-Mobile-Smartphone-1.6.0.62-US". It installed fine and after a somewhat cumbersome "Add a Slingbox" process (where you can't just "login" and see your registered Sling Players like the full PC version, instead you need to enter the freaking 20 digit identifier for your Sling) -- things were working. It's not bad, what happened to be on at the time was a football game, which certainly pushes the limits of a tiny screen and low-end broadband speeds... but it was watchable. |
