Hotmail Help

First, I don't need anyone to say to use "Live" I don't want that solution and I know the phone can do what I am asking because it used to.
I want my Hotmail to show up just like my Outlook. The guy at the ATT store set it up for me initally so I don't know what he did.
I go through the registering and it appears to load up but will not go to the emails the only account that shows up on the list is the outlook account.
