so thats what the jealous VZW mogul owners would call it. if i had a mogul as ugly as yours i would be looking for other places to comment and i would be reading about the nicer looking better performing devices as well.

Naw, I was jus' jabin your missing T in the title. If I was going to come up w/ a slam name for it though, that would have to be the 'Jilt'... As in you thought you were getting so much more than a Mogul, but you got 'Jilt'ed instead.

No, but seriously, I would've happily grabbed a tilt if vzw had them...

Re: How many Tilt users do we have?

I just gave my Sprint Mogul to one of my employees and got the ATT Tilt. I have to say ATT network sucks compared to Sprint... drops happen much more on GSM it seems

But the Tilt is clearly better built physically, and performs much much better... especially when it comes to the dial pad... the dial pad on Mogul always sucked... of course dial pad on Tilt could still be better too.

It's nice that I didn't have to do any hacking to get the GPS to work on the Tilt... like I had to on Mogul

Let's get a few things straight.

First of all Verizon doesn't have the mogul it has the XV6800.

This is a PPC website but the majority of it's users are Sprint and Verizon customers.

The Mogul is a great looking device. Much better than the XV6800 and a hell of a lot better than the Cingular/ATT 8525 ever looked.

And last but not least while the Tilt may have more memory and a faster processor, the fact of the matter is 3G isn't is nearly as wide available as Sprint or Verizon's EV-DO, because no matter how much memory you have any of us will still be able to get to that web page or download that file much faster for the most part.

and one thing you're overlooking is AT&T's 3G network is pretty much worldwide despite how much broadband coverage they give up in the states. and also note that i have a euro tilt (Kaiser 120) which is better than that of any Pocket PC in the states with not only HSDPA, but also UMTS enabled. and finally, if you wanna know why the american dollar is weak, then i'll feel free to tell ya. lol

There wasn't anything I said that was incorrect, and quite honestly post count has nothing to do with anything that we were talking about. Go to HoFo I have over 1500 posts if you want to start adding.

Sprint EV-DO has a much larger footprint than ATT's 3G network. It's as simple as that.

It's like having a brand new computer with a 56k connection. If you're primarily using it for the internet... but in the long run can't afford broadband internet why would you spend X ammount of dollars on a high performance computer when you could of settled for something a bit cheaper and use the money you've saved on the internet service.
